A Year In Review: Fuel Marketing & PR Achievements 2019
2019 has easily been one of our biggest years since Fuel Communications started up in the Plymouth University Formation Zone back in 2008. We have been the busiest we’ve ever been and have seen significant growth in both our company and our clients’ businesses and are very excited about the things to come in 2020.
We wanted to share our main marketing & PR achievements from this year, and to thank you for your support throughout one of our biggest most successful years yet. For example, did you know that we’ve helped our clients generate over £4 million more in online sales in 2019?
To find out more about Fuel Communication’s 2019 marketing & PR achievements, take a look at our video:
Looking into how we have helped our clients in 2019, we have seen a fantastic growth in our affiliate department, generating in total over £4m in online sales for our affiliate clients. During the cyber weekend alone, Fuel Affiliate generated over £170k.
Director of Affiliate Marketing at Fuel Communications, Severiano Catindig Stagg, has also helped increase the revenue of our affiliate clients by as much as 532% within 2019 via paid search platforms, such as Google Adwords.
2019 has also seen many new ventures for Fuel, from signing new clients to entering into a new market. We were thrilled to sign the GIUK Group last year and assist in the marketing efforts of the reopening of the famous Plymouth landmark, Drake’s Island.
November, saw us acquire Plymouth immersive company, One Polygon, formed by Plymouth University graduate, Viktor Brelsford. This has significantly increased the range of resources available to all of our clients and potential clients, enabling us to introduce immersive marketing assets to their business without the need to outsource these capabilities.
This same month also saw Fuel Communications sadly move out of Crownhill Fort, but excitingly moving into Plymouth City Centre at 9 The Crescent, with our great landlord and long-standing recruitment client, TQR.
Fuel attended many events in 2019, some new and some recurring, ranging from industry conferences such as PI Live, a performance marketing event, to The South West Wedding Awards, a well established local awards ceremony that we have supported for many years.
Another business that we have supported for many years, and continued to support throughout 2019, is the Brighter Smiles campaign, helping to make a difference to the oral health of over 1000 children in the Cornish community, which we will continue to support in 2020.
We have worked with some fantastic businesses in 2019 and are excited for what is to come in 2020 and working with many other great companies. We might have some more interesting news for you at the beginning of next year, so keep an eye out so that you don’t miss any exciting announcements.
