Proudly supporting Mind

This year we are delighted to announce that we have selected Mind as our official charity. In particular, we’ll be looking at the pressures facing students and parents as GCSE and A-levels loom whilst also looking at how business is coping with mental health issues.
The campaigns will be priority projects for Fuel interns Ella Guildford and Rebecca Kerle, who are both 3rd year Marketing students at Plymouth University.
“We are delighted to be the Charity of the Year for Fuel. At Plymouth & District Mind, we like to shout about mental health, loud and often! It is incredibly exciting to be partnered with an organisation such as Fuel who will help our message reach out to a wider audience. There is no health without mental health. No-one should suffer alone. We look forward to working with Fuel over the next year to supporting more people to have better mental health,” said Olivia Craig, CEO.
Martyn King, Managing Director at Fuel, commented: “Whilst awareness of Mental Health issues has grown steadily with the ‘1 in 4 people affected’ campaign, there is much more to be done. For many reasons, this is a charity that is very special to us and we are looking forward to supporting Olivia and her outstanding team, who are independently funded, in generating more awareness and donations.”
