The brief
Prior to working with Fuel, Portwrinkle Holidays was in need of a video that highlighted the attractiveness and family friendly features of their properties. Their existing footage relied predominantly on high quality interior and exterior photography and videography which, whilst still capturing their beautiful surroundings and facilities, was missing a ‘human touch’ which would appeal to families looking to stay in Cornwall.
The work
Fuel began the process by looking at various examples of promotional videos to provide Portwrinkle Holidays with a variety of styles to choose from. A team from Fuel then visited Portwrinkle to research and gain experience of the location, different angles to shoot from, and identifying key areas to highlight in the video. Once this was completed, Fuel created a storyboard to illustrate the video concept, a shortlist, and an agenda for the shoot.
Shortly after concept sign-off, Fuel spent the day at the stunning setting of Portwrinkle – filming at a range of locations highlighting the beauty of the landscape, amenities and luxurious quality of the holiday homes themselves.
The process concluded with a short editing and refinement stage which provided the final outcome which our client was delighted with
The results
The whole thing was very easy – the shoot and edits came together in no time. We especially liked how it was planned – before, during and after. We got exactly the video we wanted and it came out looking absolutely fantastic!
