The brief
The WGP Maintenance brief was simple. ‘Create us a website that not only worked perfectly on the SEO front but also represented our brand DNA’. WGP Maintenance is one of the South West’s largest commercial maintenance companies and has an unrivalled reputation in the building sector. Building on that reputation was key to the website design and the content that went with it, but it also needed to perform perfectly from a search engine point of view, making sure that their online profile and presence could be established and built on.
The work
We started the job in the same way we always do, we sat down with the client and discussed what they ‘wanted’ and what they ‘needed’ (there’s often a big difference). Between us, we scoped out the work and then went away to embark on some detailed research and development.
It wasn’t long before we started to understand that this business had the sort of the reputation that others in the sector would die for and that became central to everything we did for them.
The internal team worked closely together covering web development, design, content and even video to create an end product that did everything it was meant to do. Just like the business, the finished website is highly professional. It represented everything that WGP Maintenance stood for and ‘spoke’ to their clients and partners in the very same tone that they themselves would.
Client quote
“When we asked Fuel to create a fresh new website that truly articulated our approach to doing business, we knew they would deliver, and they absolutely did. Yes, we’re delighted with the end result, but even more encouraged by the scope that the website now offers us for the future because it enables us to tell the WGP Maintenance story as it evolves.”
