Job title: Digital/SEO Marketing Executive
Reporting to: Alem Al-Khamiri, Digital Director
Hours: 35 hours over a 5 day working week. We are currently trialling a 4 Day Week. Should we decide to extend the trial or adopt the model, you would be eligible after a qualifying period.
Workplace: Working out of either our Plymouth or Birmingham office and have the option to work from home in our hybrid working model.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience plus pension contributions and expenses.
Role description:
We’re looking for a written content creator to come into an existing role in our expanding SEO team and work closely with our Account Directors and Senior Account Executives to strengthen the presence of our clients on major search engines and fuel revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Copywriting – Capable of consistently producing 1,250 to 1,750 words of written content a day
- Proof-Reading – Confident in their ability to proof-read their own writing and the writing of others
- Research – You will almost certainly have to write about topics you have no current idea about, so the ability to quickly and effectively conduct research is essential
- Communication – You will need to liaise directly with clients via phone and email, relaying information in a concise and professional manner
- Digital Marketing Experience – Awareness of Digital Marketing principles and methods. 1 Year direct experience not essential but *highly* desirable
- Information retention – The digital marketing landscape evolves very quickly so the ability to keep up with new trends and algorithm updates, as well as developments in client sectors is a must.
- Google Analytics – Experience with Google Analytics is *highly* desirable
- Google Ads – Experience with Google Analytics is *highly* desirable
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbally
- Creative flexibility – you’ll need to be able to apply your creativity across a diverse range of sectors from eCommerce to construction
- A proactive attitude and ready to get stuck in
- Self-motivated
- Results and detail-oriented
- Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, but knows when to ask for help when needed
