Fuel Appoints Ex-Publicis Business Director, Mark Ingrouille, As Chairman
Fuel Communications, the leading brand communications agency in the South West, has announced the appointment of Mark Ingrouille as their new Chairman. Mark Ingrouille has held senior roles in several of the world’s leading multinational agencies, most recently at Paris-based Publicis Groupe, where he was their regional head of business development.
He has worked in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. Before joining Publicis, Mark was at McCann Worldgroup, the world’s largest marketing services company, for ten years as CEO for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore.
Upon returning to Plymouth, where he grew up, Mark said: “We have tremendous potential in this region. There are great companies expanding their offering, producing great products and services. But many of these companies have to go to London to help them develop their marketing communications strategies and executions.
I believe it’s time that the region had a first-class brand communications agency. I was really impressed with the team at Fuel from when I first met them. They have the vision and perspicacity to move beyond the parochial. With the expertise we’re bringing into Fuel, there is no doubt that we will be able to deliver world-class solutions for clients in the region and beyond.”
In tandem with Ingrouille’s appointment, Fuel has launched a new brand identity, communications and responsive website for itself following a strategic review of its business.
Fuel’s managing director, Martyn King said: “We are intent on bringing some top industry people on-board in planning and creative as well as launching a new consumer-insights programme for which we’ve been doing field-work for the last couple of months. We’re very much looking forward to working with Mark to help us accelerate our transformation to a best-in-class agency“.
