Removal firm prove there is still plenty of mileage in direct mail

We have recently been working with long-term client Hackworthy & Sons to create a print campaign, targeting people looking to move house.

We were responsible for the design and production of a bespoke gatefold leaflet, and because we love all things digital, we’ve added online tracking to this offline campaign to enable us to provide our client with ROI stats.

During the course of this print campaign Hackworthy & Sons have received 221 phone calls from this gatefold leaflet. We were able to monitor and analyse the leads using our call tracking technology which gives us an additional layer of insight into the performance of offline campaigns such as this.

The design stage was essential in the execution of this campaign because we needed a creative idea that was engaging while remaining informative and functional (for mailing purposes!). We decided to go with a gatefold leaflet as it incorporated our van door design perfectly.

The stock and finish was an important consideration for this campaign as we had to bear in mind the cost and spec limitations linked to mailing. So we decided to go for a 350gsm Matt finish to remain lightweight and strong. The final product can be seen below (we’ve recently commissioned a second version which we’ll let you know more about soon!).

The end results for Hackworthy & sons were very positive. The average cost per lead for the campaign was £12.90.
