Supporting future stars
Midway through last season Fuel signed an 18 month deal with EFL League One club Plymouth Argyle to join their Nexus Business Club and commit to supporting Argyle’s impressive work with their academy for the 2022/23 season.
The new deal sees Fuel’s logo on the team’s kit alongside Project 35 – Argyle’s landmark social action initiative aimed at reducing poverty in Plymouth, through a comprehensive campaign of fund-raising, awareness raising, social outreach, food donations, education, and charity support.
Steve Gyseman, Business Development Director at Fuel, said: “We’re very proud to support Argyle at many levels including the Under 18’s this season. Argyle is a club that is going from strength to strength, from its pioneering Project 35 initiative to pursuing its strategy of becoming a sustainable EFL Championship club. Our team, clients and partners are very much enjoying being part of the Pilgrim’s progress.”
Neil Dewsnip, Director of Football at Plymouth Argyle FC, explained: “We are very grateful to have Fuel onboard for this season which promises to be a strong season for our Under 18’s. Their support will enable the squad to travel further and gain valuable experience in playing against some of the top academies in the country. This will enable more of them to make their debuts in the first team and follow in the footsteps of Michael Cooper and Adam Randell.”
Our involvement with the Nexus Business Club has seen us be match sponsors and match shirt sponsors last season and will see us enjoy corporate hospitality at the home games against Port Vale (2 December), Derby County (28 January), and Forest Green Rovers (18 March). If you would like to join us for those games or are interested in other fixtures this season, please get in touch with your usual contact here at Fuel.
